Pressenza becomes international

Press release - September 30, 2009

Pressenza is glad to announce its new international website: www.pressenza.com

Human rights' press office was born in Milan, on September 2006 during the European Humanist Forum, from a group of volunteers dedicated to the ideals of New Humanism.

From Milan, it spread to Europe and the rest of the world, becoming an International Press Agency dedicated to peace, nonviolence and human rights.

www.pressenza.com is now on-line with daily news from all over the planet in five languages (Italian, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese). It counts on a network of editorial units and correspondents in five continents, with columnists such as Noam Chomsky, media relations, other press agencies and websites of significant organizations: ABI, Democracy Now, Peacelink, etc.

The Agency submits breaking news, articles, audio and video supporting material. All are free and can be reproduced acknowledging its source.

News can be received by RSS and email, besides being consulted on the website.

During the World March for Peace and Nonviolence, Presenza will offer daily updates on the route and the events celebrating the passing of the March. Everyday, Isabelle Alexandrine Bourgeoise, Swiss journalist and Pressenza reporter, will follow Base Team and give it daily coverage. Isabelle has dedicated a special blog to the March on her website Planetpositive (Pressenza partner) in which she has been publishing only "positive" news since 2003. She has been committed to information, the press and humanitarian missions throughout her whole life.
